Many thanks for your interest in the NewsMerge debug messages.
We appreciate the help of our users in creating a great and
stable new release.

Beginning with build 163, NewsMerge contains some debuging aid
strings that can be viewed with the dbwin32 program in the
rolling beta set. It was originally introduced to help track
down some hard to find errors in pop3 check that did not
appear in our offices.

To see the debug messages, please start dbwin32.exe in the same
user session as NewsMerge. The debug system does work under
Windows NT/2000/XP only. Windows 9x is not supported by the
debugging system - sorry (this is a Microsoft limitation).
Operate NewsMerge *while* dbwin32 is running. In the dbwin window,
messages will show up. Please note that we use a general debuging
aid. If you run a tool like dbwin, you will quickly notice how many
release builds of production software contain debug strings - even
some Microsoft software. So not all information is necessarily
send from NewsMerge.

If you experience a problem, we deeply appreciate if you can
forward us the error report together with the information
seen in dbwin32.

Many thanks,
Rainer Gerhards
